Holtz Health and Beauty Spa was established in 1985 and underwent a major renovation two years ago that brought state-of-the-art equipment and a more calming, less clinical environment throughout. Now the spa has an Eastern/Zen emphasis, with rounded walls, mango colors, tropical plants, bamboo, orchids and exceptional art by local artisans. There are three lounges for relaxing before, after and in-between treatments: the Orchid Lounge (for package treatment guests), the Bamboo Lounge, and the Turkish Humam lounge, which has an oxygen tank and luxurious bench for lounging. Caribbean-Thai cuisine is served at the spa’s Sante restaurant.
