In the heart of downtown Vancouver, this holistic, two-level spa is small and intimate, with a heavy emphasis on individualized, private treatments. Warm mauve and cream colors bathe the small greeting area, and windows have been covered to provide a more soothing atmosphere. Most treatments at the 15-year-old La Raffinage combine reiki, natural products and/or other types of energy work. Candle light and aromatherapy are also important components of the spa experience.
