The spa has a number of “Wellness Therapies” that are actually detoxifying treatments lasting up to four hours. The Himalayan Rejuvenation, for example, begins with a Sambara Scalp Treatment (see above); continues with purifying massage techniques that the client experiences while seated in a steam tent designed to facilitate sinus clearing (you’ll be inhaling your appropriate aromas according to your profile and then receive an acupressure and lymphatic drainage massage to clear congestion, followed by gentle herbal drops for the nasal passages). Next is a dry, full body exfoliation massage to loosen and mobilize toxins, increase immunity, remove dull surface cells and increase circulation. The third therapy in the Himalayan Rejuvenation is a continuous stream of warm oil and rhythmic herbal oil massage, called abhyanga. You will then be enveloped in a steam bath to assist in the purification of the body through perspiration therapy. The fifth and final step (Shirodhara) elicits deep relaxation as a soothing stream of pure plant Tranquilessence is poured over the forehead, four-and-a-half hours, $425.
