 Lake Placid Lodge Spa Features

Services: In-room spa services are available on special request and as part of special packages. The Ultimate Bath Experience for two is detailed above.
Facilities: Lake Placid Lodge does not have a stand-alone spa facility; treatments such as the Ultimate Bath Experience are administered in the lodge rooms, lodge suites and log cabins.
Meal plans: All stays include a full Adirondack breakfast, served in the dining room or in the privacy of your room or cabin. Consider taking breakfast in your room or cabin; the service is outstanding (if it’s chilly, they’ll rekindle your fire), and the menu selections are plentiful. The food is delicious. Fireside afternoon tea service at the lodge is included as well; finger foods at tea service are wonderful. The Ultimate Bath Package includes dinner for two in your room, but you may opt wisely to take dinner and the dining room: Executive Chef Sean Mohammed leads an inspired team that will not disappoint even the most sagacious palates. The wine list features bottles ranging from "modest to illustrious".
Accommodations: In the lodge are 15 guestrooms and suites, surrounding are 1 9 cabins named in the spirit of the Adirondack lore and geography. Local artisans contribute heavily: Each cabin reflects a different artist’s personality. The cabin named Whitney overlooks Lake Placid with an oversized picture window. Two Adirondack chairs are all that lie between the window and the shore; leave the drapes open when you retire to your featherbed and the morning loons will be among your day’s first sights. Twig and birch-bark furniture, warmly hued fabrics and wood-burning fireplaces of massive stone make the Adirondack experience authentic and soothing in any season.
