Global Fitness Adventures offers trips around the globe that cornbine long hikes, yoga, massage and organic fresh foods (induding chicken and fish) cooked by a chef that accompanies each group. No sugar, caffeine or alcohol is served. Upcoming locations indude Dorninica, Caribbean; Santa Barbara, Bhutan, Himalayas; Moab, Utah; Kenya, Bali, Lake Como, Italy; Devonshire, England; Sedona, Arizona andAspen, Colorado. Depending on trip length and location, prices range from $2,495 to $5,575 per person, double occupancy. Airfare is not included.
A typical GFA trip consists of an early-morning (6:30) wake-up followed by a lemon cleasing drink; yoga/stretch class and meditation; breakfast at 8:30; then a 5- to 1 5-mile hike, depending on your ability level. Lunch is prepared by your traveling chef. After you return to your accomodations, afternoon activities include either massage (three days a week) or site-specific activities, such as rafting, snorkeling, tennis, swimming or horseback riding.
These activities are followed by a pre-dinner stretching class; gourmet spa dinner by candlelight comes next; then a variety of evening activities, including motivational health and weliness discussions or site-specific activites, such as an Indian sweat lodge ceremony, or soaking in a rock Jacuzzi under the stars.

The week-long Aspen, Colorado trips offered by Global Fitness Adventures (GFA) offer access to some of the most beautiful and challenging high-altitude scenery in the United States. Hikes will take you through alpine meadows, blue spruce and pine forests, and pristine mountain lakes. The very hardy can leave at dawn to scale a 13,000-14,000 foot peak.
Afternoons bring you back to the Aspen Athletic Club for weight training, aerobics, Pilates, spinning, swimming or a visit to the steam room. The Aspen trip includes yoga/meditation and three massages. Optional activities include horseback riding, mountain biking, whitewater rafting and trout fishing.
Nights include lectures on healthy lifestyle and courses on "Radiant Aliveness through Eating." Other activities include an evening at the Snowmass Rodeo, a visit to Aspen’s music festival, or trips to the ballet and theater.
